This was from last summer, and the Bill was introduced on Oct 25th.

Ford faces a shitty choice. He must recognize that Clark's resignation isn't going to halt this controversy. If anything, it advances and intensifies the challenge. The only way to staunch this thing is to reverse the process, return the awarded tracts to the Greenbelt #onpoli

1. The flagrant misuse of MZO’s for friends and family, violating the principles of local democracy. Why is the Province MZO’ing lands of private developers and not developing land it owns itself, around GO stations?

2. Ontario Place. Why a multi-million $ subsidy…

Today, it’s important to recognize that #OntEd is stronger because teachers & ed workers have fought collectively for things like smaller class sizes & adequate staffing to meet student needs.

Those in power tend to fight against because power serves big money.

Started with cutting Toronto City Council in half. Then, Bill 23. Then, municipal audits. Then, growth plan revamp. Then cutting into the Greenbelt

It’s time for the Greenbelt’s lands to be returned and protected for future generations. Anything less won’t be good enough.
