Interesting paper looking at staggered timing of smartphone bans in school.

I would encourage you to look at the design and results; they’re certainly suggestive but the design fully rests on the timing of when the bans are put into place, and the estimates are noisy.

I wanted to do this because I think people likely would want to know details like this as they contemplate writing a book themselves.
