THIS โฌ๏ธ Royal College of Physicians Please listen to us patients: we do not feel safe being subjected to PAs. They are insufficiently trained after 2yrs with poor knowledge & skills yet frequently blurr roles with Drs. Who is protecting us from this? Are you? #PatientSafetyMatters
Dr Rachel Clarke NHS England GMC My surgery's new website now shows both GPs and PAs on the 'Doctors' page. There is no explanation of the difference. GPs are listed with their full name and qualifications whereas PAs are only listed by first name, but there's no explanation of what they are.
Jeez. How is this being allowed to happen Wes Streeting MP?
We still don't know the details of the contracts Royal College of Physicians has signed with government that were referenced during the EGM. If this is outcome there will clearly be consequences - need transparency on this and exactly what has been signed away (and who consulted).
Why are Anaesthetists United taking legal action against the GMC? Listen to my conversation with James Catton, who runs the Physician Associate podcast, to see how much we agree with one another. podfollow.com/the-physician-โฆ

Partha S Kar ๐ฎ๐ณ๐ฌ๐ง๐๐ฅ The RCoA has whatโs called the Cappucini test Brought in after a breakdown in communication channels & supervision & a. Life threatening ing emergency bbc.co.uk/news/uk-englanโฆ The test means that (senior) supervisor and supervisor use should both know what the supervised is
PA Stephen Nash So your objection is to the The BMA scope And you will accept the Royal College of Physicians RCGP scope- or do you choose what you like as the one who is being supervised what scope you work to That would be unique- to say the least
