Out with the South Downs National Park Eastern volunteers on Seven Sisters Country Park today. Task today was repairing sections of fencing (which as the photo showed the cows were leaning on and through). The new strainer will take a lot more 'cow strain' hopefully.... π€π€

King Alfred's cakes aka coal fungus.
The fungus is an example of a saprotroph β a fungus that decays dead plant material - indicating the tree, or a part of the tree, is dead.

As part of Big Give's #GreenMatchFund every donation to SouthDownsTrust between now and 25 April will be doubled!
