Delighted to share our work demonstrating that PRS and clinical risk factors should be jointly considered towards personalized medicine. Honored and grateful to be guided by my great mentor Pradeep Natarajan and to work with an awesome team!
Genetic risk shouldn't be considered in isolation. Our work led by Buu Truong shows how clinical risk factors and a coronary artery disease polygenic risk score interact to optimally inform coronary artery disease risk. sciencedirect.com/science/articl… Med by Cell Press
Our review article is out!🎉
Grateful for the chance Nature Reviews Genetics Pradeep Natarajan to delve into the similarities, differences, and interplay between somatic and germline mutations🧬with super talented Tim Coorens!
Also, thank Henry Ertl for the dedication in handling the review!
A new statistical framework in Cell Genomics compiles data from existing studies to estimate individuals’ risk for genetically influenced diseases more accurately than individual studies. Learn more: broad.io/PRSs-news
