Nice walk along the Humber bank from Winter's Pond to East Halton Skitter earlier this morning. Highlights include: Common Crane (3) over heading NW - patch tick, Cuckoo, Garganey, Swifts, Wheatear (4), Whimbrel (11) - all NFY and Willow Warbler (2). Lincsbirding

Following a good morning of Breeding Bird Surveys down near The Wash, I popped into RSPB Frampton Marsh 🌍 for a couple of hours. As always, an enjoyable visit with plenty of rares and breeding birds on show. Two Common Crane flying low overhead were probably the highlight, though!
Anderby Marsh this morning (1st May): drake Garganey, Wood Sandpiper, 3 Greenshank, Spoonbill, Black-tailed Godwits, Avocets, Barwit and Kingfisher. WOODCHAT SHRIKE present for its 7th day- showing well around the roundhouse tower south of Anderby Creek! BirdGuides Lincsbirding
