We are at the end of a school term where yet more children have been killed by motor vehicles in and around schools.

Britiain might have expected a review of why road deaths have not declined after 12 years of Conservative government.

This is shameful stuff.

You'd think that a PM who is presiding over a govt & country that is a burning platform would have better things to do. Solving the SEND crisis, supporting collapsing NHS, tackling high inflation or ending the housing crisis, but no, instead we get 🐕 whistles about local roads🚗

This will always be one of my single most important messages when it comes to actually realizing better cities. Please remember it every single time someone claims there’s a “war on drivers.” There isn’t. There’s just better or worse cities for EVERYONE.

This is becoming bonkers. There was a by-election in an atypical seat, shortly before a policy comes into force, and the less green party clung on.

The public as a whole consistently wants more environmental action from the government, not less.

The interim reviews of Haringey's LTN schemes reveal major reductions in traffic, bus journey times normalised on most routes with improvements on pre-LTN times on many. Air quality is better in all LTNs when compared to the rest of the borough. #StreetsForPeople
