this tiny flower is endemic to a small area in the very north of Scotland, in Caithness, Sutherland and Orkney.

Exciting news from the North Coast! One of our Volunteer Growers has just spotted an oysterplant seedling in her pot! 🌱

We hope this wee seedling will thrive and grow into a beautiful plant that we can take to events for people to see and learn about.

Significant areas of policy which affect Scotland's natural environment are reserved to the UK government.

Ahead of the next general election, we're calling on all parties to ensure their manifestos address the nature crisis.

PO Jan took this footage of giant hogweed growing near the River Urie during site visits in March. This site was treated last year but it will take several years of consistent control to eradicate the plant due to the seedbank present in the soil. 1/2
