🌨️ A rather soggy Saturday morning toolbox meeting at one of our wind farms for the team.

It’s a glamorous lifestyle this conservation detection dog business!

🦇Late April saw the end of our 3 mth bat survey season & we crunched some numbers (approx vals):
- Total Turbines Searched: 555
- Total Area Covered: 1,510 ha
- Total Survey Time: 405 hrs

Phew... 😅 Huge thank you to all those involved, and especially our super team of dogs 💕

🦇 It’s now bat season at our windfarm sites. Prior to detection dogs, humans looked for bat (and bird) carcasses. We’re not sure how we would do it without our dogs! They continually alert on bats we couldn’t possibly spot ourselves. Here’s some recent examples!
