Super wealthy private-equity investor Guy Hands says the British economy is โ€œfrankly doomedโ€ unless the government succeeds in fundamentally changing the Brexit negotiated by Boris Johnson. He says Trussโ€™s disastrous unfunded tax cuts were necessitated by Brexit butโ€ฆ

If Boris doesnโ€™t disclose the full list of 102 people he says backed him, itโ€™s safe to assume heโ€™s lying & pulled out because he didnโ€™t have the numbersโ€ฆ

Hi BBC News (UK), your website appears to be malfunctioning. A search for 'Rejoin EU March' returns no results, even though the event took place yesterday in London.

I'm sure it's just a technical issue and there's no nefarious reason for the missing coverage.

Labour says it will review the lobbying rules to ensure transparency on who funds Tufton Street โ€˜think tanksโ€™.

Johnsonโ€™s withdrawal letter was graceless, probably dishonest, and dangerous in its framing.

Its level of victim playing too, was Trumpian.

And thatโ€™s probably his intent โ€” he wants his own cult now with its own โ€œcould have beenโ€ narrative.

Stanley Johnson could have saved thousands of lives, the country, millions from misery, poverty & despair!
Why didn't he pull out in September '63?

Chris Bryant is right.

Sunak hasnโ€™t even faced an interview and heโ€™s to become our 3rd PM in just over 3 years?

General Election, now!

Before this gets out of hand and it all gets rewritten right in front of usโ€ฆ
There was absolutely nothing โ€˜statesmanlikeโ€™ about Johnson withdrawing. Heโ€™d stirred things up, let people down and, in the end, he didnโ€™t get enough support.
It was a supremely shitty little episode.

Johnson. He โ€˜got all the big calls rightโ€™.

Apart from the one where he raced home thinking 100 MPs would want him back, only to findโ€ฆโ€ฆthey donโ€™t.

Two gin-scented tears trickled down the sides of Nadineโ€™s nose. But it was all right, everything was all right, the struggle was finished. He had won the victory over himself.

Not only has Johnson been humiliated tonight but so has Chris Mason for his sixth former level of lazy journalism. How much are we paying for this Kuennsberg style of faux journalism?
