Pranab Chatterjee Ash Paul SP Kalantri I work at PGI, and I agree with SP Kalantri

Many Dx and Rx are based on cost-effectiveness for developed countries. Those calculations do not translate well for LMIC/LIC nations

Add out-of-pocket payments, and now that calculation carries little value for an individual patient

Not my experience in psychiatric contexts. I tell patients about SSRI risks and their limited efficacy relative to placebo, making a soft case against SSRIs, but most still want them––in part because enjoying a placebo effect requires a suitable intervention to serve as vehicle.

If your lab uses colorimetric creatinine assays, a patient with glycosuria from an SGLT2I will have overestimated urine creatinine and therefore a lower urine protein: creatinine ratio

Therefore proceed with caution on that 'amazing reduction in proteinuria'
