Recently moved home to the Garw Valley, Bridgend, and pleased to find the ground beetle Leistus oopterus in the street today. This beetle is known only from the South Wales Valleys, northern Portugal and north-west Spain.

A PhD student at Natural History Museum is requesting help to survey for nocturnal wasps. Specimens are sent to NHM for ID, collection tubes etc are provided.
